"Syria respect UN chemical weapons agreement"

DHAKA: Will Syria's President Bashar al-Assad told Italian television station RaiNews24 on Sunday UN Treaty on chemical weapons, respect.

'We the international agreements against the acquisition and use of chemical weapons combined, even before this resolution was passed,' he said, when asked whether resolution would meet Syria on Friday.

The UN Security Council on Friday adopted a resolution, which requires the removal of Syrian chemical weapons, but threats are not automatically punitive action against Assad's Government, if it does not match, the Straits Times reported.
